Location: the hotel was close enough to town centre, the railway station and Runcorn. It also was right by Reception & Restaurant.

All in all, it was good choice for travelling to Runcorn. Exceptionally comfortable beds, central heating, coffee and tea making equipment, and a work desk were a nice touch. I really enjoyed pleasant food.

Pleasant staff that genuinely seemed to be happy to see the customer. Room was serviced and fine but the room could be spruced up a little. I only had breakfast at the hotel and it was fine and service was as quick as it could be with the staff cooking a breakfast to order.
The bathroom and ceiling in my room needed a "refresh" along with a grubby and stained carpet. I really didn't like to think about the carpet and what was living in it.The sheets were clean and the room had otherwise been made up well. If the carpet was clean I would recommend the hotel to a friend.

At first it seems like very loud place, but surprisingly it is not. Liked location and not pushy staff.
I did not like stained bedding, out of date overall design and leaking hydraulics

Booked a king room with a good breakfast, the hotel was conveniently located close to a restaurant and the local railway station, which was exactly what we were looking for.

The room is clean, beddings nice and soft, the coffee and tea good compliment. It is perfect for what we needed. The bus from Liverpool airport (82A) about 40 minutes drive was perfect to get to the hotel. The metro to the city is also very close.
